Goal Setting - Isaiah 40:31

Isaiah 40:31 NIV

"but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

I used this verse about a year ago but what a great verse to think about as we approach the new year.

As you look at this new year, what are your expectations?  Do you have any goals or goals you are still working on?  Place your hope in the Lord and set goals worthy of achieving.   Don't hold back.  Give yourself something to reach for.

As you reach a goal or as you achieve ground towards the goal, take time to celebrate.  You will be surprised at how you are revived.  Even more, as you trust in God know that He is with you.

As a baby you learned to walk and then to run and finally you felt unstoppable.  You can always have this feeling when you first trust God.  As you set goals set something achievable to get you "walking" - not as a place to stop.  Keep moving the goal to a pace so that one day you are soaring. Trust God.
