Jeremiah 29:13 NIV
"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."
Beautiful verse today. It is a promise from God. When we seek Him, we will find Him.
Ever play hide and seek? My kids used to play it in the house. They would hide under tables and a bench with feet sticking out thinking they had the best hiding place in the world. My wife and I would pretend we could not find them. It is fun until they get smarter and hide so well in the closet that you can't find them and you panic.
God doesn't play hide and seek. He wants to be found. He enjoys our pursuit of Him. Seeking God implores us to pray to Him and worship Him with all our heart, our mind, our soul, and our strength. We are to seek Him with all our understanding. We will find Him because He is not hidden.
Our relationship with God grows from our desire to know Him, and He will reveal Himself to us. But we have to want to know Him personally and intimately realizing He hasn't hidden from us and nothing we say or do is hidden from Him.
Are you seeking God? You will find Him.
