Ecclesiastes 12:13 NIV
"Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind."
Two things we can do to honor God:
1. Fear Him - Show Him respect and love. Practice the presence of God (realize He is with you). Jesus tells us to love Him with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength. True fear takes all we have and gives it to God because He has given to us all He has.
2. Obey Him - We study His Word to know what He asks of us. Jesus simplifies it by asking us to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.
Our duty or task is to fully worship God through love and through obedience. Think about this today. How does your life reflect your love for God? How are you being obedient?
