Muslim Thou Dost Not Scare Me

Luke 12:4-5 NIV

“I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more.    But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him."

The words of Jesus could not be more relevant.  Sometimes I wonder if we place too much emphasis as Christians on living life here on earth.  Let me clarify this.  Life here determines life after death.  Life here is important only to the point of representing God now.

Our real goal for life is to honor God.  No one can take away our faith
in. No one can remove true love.

We should not fear a radical Muslim.  We should not fear dysfunctional government.   We should not fear the evil that drives the hearts of others.  We should not fear but One.

Fear can keep us from achieving the greatness for which God created us.  Living for God will naturally bring its own rewards on earth and afterwards in heaven.

When fear is removed we can share our faith without wondering if we are doing the right thing or not.  Proper fear of God restores His strength within us.  Stop living with your weaknesses and start overcoming this life.  With Christ there is no sin that is so deeply embedded that you cannot overcome it.

If God is for us, then who or what can be against us?  Fear should not dictate your life.  Be free from it through Christ and be free to live your life!
