"I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds."
Thanksgiving is a great time to remember all the deeds God has done on our behalf. I do not mean simple deeds. I am talking about deeds beyond our ability - deeds of salvation, mercy, love, and much more. Sure we are thankful for family, friends, good times, and food, but we should encourage one another with the things only God can accomplish in our lives.
So David says he will tell of these great deeds. He will tell others with all his heart. This is an emotional, deep down motivation to tell others because it is personal and life changing.
So as you sit down to dinner with your family and friends, give thanks to God - just Him - for His wonderful deeds. Express your thankfulness with all your heart.
