Romans 8:31 NIV
"What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?"
You can know that God is for you. Want to know how I know? Prior to saying this, Paul says God works for the good of those who love Him. Before that, Paul describes how the Holy Spirit empowers us. Sounds like God has invested Himself into the relationship He wants to have with you.
The real question becomes, do we want to invest ourselves into the relationship? How do we respond to knowing that God gives us all so we can enjoy a relationship with Him?
To add to this, Paul reminds us that a relationship with God through Jesus Christ is empowering. Paul reminds us that since God is for us - since He gives us His all - who can be against us?
There is not any challenge made by man that can separate us from the love of God. There is not any argument that can change the reality of God's existence. There is not any judgement that can remove God's love for us. There is not anyone who can stand in the way of God's love for those He has chosen - those who love Him.
No matter what you face today - arguments at home, angry customers, sickness, death - nothing can separate you from His love. When you love God, God is for you.
Romans 8:35-39 - 'Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
I am convinced also! Have a great day.
