I was watching Good Morning America this morning when I became interested in an upcoming story about the science behind Guardian Angels. Some explorer/writer decided to write a book about it. Of course he was an expert on the subject, right? Nope. Did GMA report this? Nope. They presented him as an expert in Guardian Angels and asked if he believed they were real. His answer, "You are your own angel."
Now anyone can come to their own conclusions about angels and their role here on earth. I believe they are all around. The GMA reporter, however, acted as if this revelation from the author was a groundbreaking scientific study. Yet the reporter did not present any science other than the beliefs of the author. Guess I have to read the book for that information. What was funny was how the studio hosts reacted. One gasped as if great wisdom had been unveiled. Then she said, "I am my own angel. Wow."
I guess what I want to say is that some will accept any answer when they hear a "news" story. Do the research. Don't be gullible.
Here is a pretty good site for more answers: http://www.christiananswers.net/q-acb/acb-t005.html
