Prayers of a Politcian

The Walton Tribune posted this about Jody Hice.  Jody Hice is running for the 7th Congressional Seat in the state of Georgia.  Jody is a former pastor, and currently a talk show radio host.  Jody has in the past given the IRS a hard time for stepping on the rights of Christians (as well as many others who bash Christians).  Now, he faces a new challenge just before the run-off.  Jody did the unbelievable.  Should I dare say it?

Jody asked for....prayer.  Jody asked for his listeners to pray for the candidates in these final few days heading into the primary run-off.  The IRS sticking their nose into places they should not, now says he may be guilty of violating federal rules as a candidate because he "endorsed himself by asking for prayer"  which is an "unfair advantage" due to his being a talk show host.

I am so tired of the Big Brother attitude of the IRS.  Can't we just fire them and implement the FairTax?  The IRS is the same governmental bully stick that will also implement the tax code for the healthcare plan if you have forgotten.

The IRS lacks enough oversight and has way too much power.  Fire Congress.  Fire the IRS.  Let's get our freedom's back!  Go get 'em Jody!  Vote for the FairTax!
