Isaiah 12:4-5 NIV
"In that day you will say: “Give praise to the Lord , proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted. Sing to the Lord , for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world."
In that day is this present day we live in. Starting with chapter eleven, we read how Isaiah describes the coming One from the lineage of Jesse - David's father. On that day is repeated numerous times and it describes the coming off Jesus and how the people will rejoice at His coming.
We are living during the days of proclamation. We are living in the times that are for declaring His glorious works - His salvation available to all. We are His witnesses to the world, and we can let His name be known. We have to. The world is fading deeper into a spiritual fog.
Do we really have something to celebrate anymore? Or are we just fighting to survive? As for me and my house, we have found room both to serve and to praise God.
