Stop Worrying

Philippians 4:6-7 NIV

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

You ever had one of those days that you were not looking forward to but was necessary.  Your anxiety levels rising and you need to hear from God.  My day started this way today but this verse popped up on my Bible app today. God's timing is amazing.

Do not be worried about anything it says.  I am a natural worrier so this takes a lot of work for me.   But notice what the verse is saying. Pray about anything.  We try so hard to do things that we at times forget to let God in on the situation.  God awaits to hear from us.

As we present our requests, something beautiful happens.  The worry melts away and is replaced by God's peace.  God's peace surpasses our understanding. How does something so worrisome just fade away?  God starts carrying the load.  He starts guarding our hearts and minds so we can get through not only the next moment but through every moment.

God wants us to succeed and not be frozen in worry. We cannot experience life more abundant without Him. What are you worrying about today?   What are you carrying that God can easily lift off you?
