Fullness

Colossians 2:9-10 NIV

"For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority."

Christ is complete.  On earth He was complete - fully God and fully man.  He had to be in order to complete us.  In fact, I think fullness is a better word than complete.  We are full in Christ.  We want no more.  We have been equipped in all His fullness. 

Without Christ we lack.  We lack strength, passion, direction, and power.  Sure you may have these but they are narrow in perspective and more selfish in scope.  Christ unlocks perspective and scope in fullness.  Why stay small...

Additionally, Christ is over every leader and authority.  Anyone who shrugs off His authority abdicates his or her authority and narrows his or her perspective.  This is where leadership vacuums form and evil regimes rise.   The same happens when a nation embraces and accepts things that are evil as normal.  The nation experiences a vacuum in leadership because it can not identify truth or Christ. 

Do not lack fullness.   Embrace Christ,  let Him fill you, and watch Him broaden your perspectives.   He is ready to change the world with you.
