Happy New Year and a Prayer Request

I have been silent for the past week trying to get through holiday traveling and preparation for a wonderful opportunity this weekend.

I have been presented the pleasure of speaking to a wonderful congregation in Cherrylog, Georgia (Mt Zion West Worship Center). I will be sharing from God's Word during the morning and evening service on January 3rd.

I traveled up there last week to find the building and to pray and read the Bible. It is a beautiful sanctuary in the mountains. Looks like a log building or mountain retreat.

I do not have the opportunity to get out and preach much and this is a great opportunity for me, so please be in prayer for the trip my family and I will taking.

We are praying for a wonderful outpouring of God's love and mercy through the message presented. I am hoping for the people to be touched and moved.

Thus, I am asking for your prayer as we go up into the mountains. Pray for good weather (cold or not), God's favor, and the Spirit's work.

Anyone interested in a trip to the mountains, the service starts at 11:00 (Sunday school at 10). Take Interstate 575 north to Elijay. The road turns into Hwy 515. Go through East Elijay and travel about 8 or 9 miles. The church entrance will be on the left (two signs marks the property). Travelling north, if you pass the Christian Church in Cherrylog you have gone a little too far. If you arrive in Blue Ridge, then you have traveled much too far.

Thanks! David
