What Much Christmas Garbage Did You Generate?

A friend of mine texted me the following (name excluded to protect innocent parties - ha-ha)

Merry Christmas. Hope you are buried beneath wrapping paper and contributed to the pile that buried others. Our kids are still digging out.

Yes and yes to the statement. When we left my grandmother's home there was plenty of trash to be thrown away (or burned). Our trash at home is normally picked up on Fridays but with Christmas falling on that day this year, our trashcan is not empty, so we have a pile of wrapping paper (in trash bags) and boxes waiting for their transport to the dump.

So how much trash did you generate this season? Hope it was plenteous but don't forget the real meaning of Christmas and remember those smiling faces as you unveiled their treats. Keep that feeling and help to perpetuate it throughout the new year. 2010 here we come!
