God Bless America, The Atlanta Braves, and Memorial Day

My family and I went to see the Atlanta Braves game yesterday afternoon (they won 5-2 with a Troy Glaus homerun and numerous hits). Two wonderful moments happened during the between innings:
  • We were introduced to an Air Force Special Forces soldier who was a Halo JumpMaster (do you realize what it takes to be a jump master much less with halo jumps...)  The Braves were honoring soldiers returning home from the war.  Standing ovation that brought tears...
  • Next during  7th inning stretch we actually sang God Bless America (led by an dude from the Atlanta Opera - awesome voice).  Chills through the spine.
We live in the home of the brave in a land of the free.  What will you do to keep it that way?  How are you involved with our country?  What are you going to do to keep your kids in a great nation?

God Bless America!  Happy Memorial Day!

Thanks to all who serve, have served, and will continue to serve!
