The reason being is that a seventh son is a mythical person who supposedly was the seventh son born consecutively. This mythical son was supposedly able to bring healing.
But the true Sacred Son, Jesus Christ, is not mythical. There is more historical documentation supporting his life than that of Julius Caesar.
In my B.C. years, Journey was my favorite band. I used to strain my voice trying to imitate Steve Perry.
What I like about this particular song is the hidden hope within it. Everyone faces problems at times. Some face problems for so long that they lose the strength and desire to fight against it.
How many people live in broken homes, how many drink their problems away, how many hurt and we do not know? How many people have seen their dreams washed away and don't know where to turn?
To borrow an old cliche that isn't very cliche-ish, "Jesus is the answer." Not just because He is God, can walk on water, bring people back from the dead, heal diseases, know you by name...Okay maybe so.
Jesus is the answer because life through Him makes room for mistakes and clears the way for forgiveness. Life through Jesus opens the door of opportunity and empowers our ability to find answers. Life in Jesus gives us hope when all hope seems gone.
Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the Lord.Psalms 31:24 (NKJV)
Where do you need strength today? Rest your hope in God. Who do you know who needs strength today? Share your hope with them. As the song says, have faith and believe. Let your heart be strengthen today.
