And then it happens. Everyone jumps up and down and slaps one another on the back. You scream at the top of your lungs. Your team has scored a victory touchdown and you like everyone else who has braved the cold rain have seen what you wanted to see from your team.
Could you worship God like that in the rain? Would you brave the elements regardless of the outside conditions if it meant sharing a moment with the King of kings - Jesus Christ?
"But we don't have to, we have buildings. We have air conditioning. We have heat when necessary."
I didn't ask that. I asked if you loved God so much that you could worship Him regardless of the circumstances and the comfort level?
"Sure, and I do."
Really? I hope that is true. Just think of this as the Christmas holiday progresses and as you watch the Bowl games or fight traffic to get that last minute gift or as you rush to see you favorite band or as you make time for that new movie you have been dying to see.
Think about that as God sits waiting for you to put as much effort into your relationship with Him as you put into everyday life. Think about that as He seeks to be involved with your whole life and not just where you decide to fit Him in.
Could you worship regardless of how you looked, how you acted, or how you were seen? Could you shout to the Lord and dance before Him? Could you Love God the way He loves you?
Here are the Lee University EVS (Evangelistic Singers). These are all college students, and they only want to do one thing - Worship God regardless!
