Romans 8:35 NIV
"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?"
Dogs are very loyal to the people who treat them well. My dog adores my kids and loves to play with them. She gets very excited anytime they are near and will mope when they leave for school. Her love goes out towards them but cannot go with them.
I am so glad the love of Christ is so different. We do not go to a worship gathering to experience Christ's love only to leave it behind when we leave. Nothing can separate us from His love. He doesn't mope around until we return to Him. He goes before us and is with us at all times - even when things get tough.
When trouble arises, He is there. We we face hard times, He is there. Through persecution, Christ is with us. When famine strikes, He never leaves our side. When we are cold or do not have enough clothing, He is leading us through. When or if we face danger or death, Jesus calls us His.
Nothing can separate us from His love. The harshness of life brought on by the sins of this world may try to mask it, but His loves still remains. Nothing can separate us from His love.
Whatever you are facing, His love is provided for you. If you would like myself or our church family to pray for you, leave a comment or join us on Sunday mornings.
